Alexander Grant

Broadacre Agronomist

Experience and Expertise

Based in Wagga Wagga, southern NSW, Alexander Grant brings a wealth of experience working with broadacre systems across the region. His background in agronomy is shaped by an innate curiosity and a drive to explore how farming systems can continually improve. Alexander works closely with growers to optimise soil structure, nutrient balance, and cropping rotations — ensuring each decision contributes to stronger, more resilient outcomes.

Approach and Philosophy

If Alexander had to describe his approach in one word, it would be curious. He believes that no system is ever fully understood, and there’s always more to learn from observing nature’s feedback. He’s helped growers address complex challenges such as improving water infiltration rates and managing variability in different soil types. For Alexander, the most rewarding part of agronomy is the discovery — seeing a grower light up when a new approach works, or when data reveals an opportunity that changes their thinking.

Beyond the Field

Alexander values curiosity and authenticity above all else. These traits shape not only how he works, but also how he lives. He’s passionate about continual learning and believes that genuine relationships — built on trust and openness — are the foundation for success in both farming and life. When he’s not out in the field, Alexander enjoys exploring new ideas, technologies, and approaches that keep him connected to the evolving world of agriculture.
