Experience and Expertise
Based in Victoria, Chelsea works across key horticultural regions including the Goulburn Valley, Yarra Valley, Ovens Valley, Piangil, Young, and Batlow. Specialising in cherries, stone fruit, and pome fruit, she partners with growers to strengthen the connection between soil health, plant nutrition, and crop performance.
With a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (First Class Honours) from the University of Melbourne, majoring in Plant and Soil Sciences, Chelsea combines scientific rigour with a practical, outcome-focused approach. Her work centres on uncovering the underlying drivers of plant imbalance and helping growers move from reactive problem-solving to proactive, data-driven management — resulting in stronger, more resilient crops and systems.
Chelsea believes that agronomy is as much about educating and supporting people as it is about science. Her philosophy is to work with growers, not just for them — guiding them through data, observations, and strategy so they feel confident in every decision. She finds satisfaction in watching gradual improvements take shape over time, whether that’s better crop structure, stronger root systems, or increased grower confidence.
Beyond the Field
Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys a quieter kind of farming — she owns over 200 bee hives and gets great joy from tending to them and extracting honey. Whether she’s out in the field or checking her hives, Chelsea carries the same values: patience, observation, and care.
