Safety, Quality and Environmental Coordinator

Location: North Wangaratta

Salary: $65k – $70k per year

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent- Hybrid work arrangments could be arranged

 We are currently seeking a Safety, Quality and Environmental Coordinator to join our team. This is a dual role where you will spend 50% of your time focusing on safety, and the remaining 50% on quality and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Develop, implement, and maintain safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety, quality, and environmental audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 accreditation and local regulations.
  • Analyze safety data and make recommendations to management for improving safety practices and minimizing workplace accidents.
  • Coordinate safety training and education programs for employees.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, and environmental management.

Qualifications:

  •  Diploma in safety management, quality management, environmental science, or a related field, preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in safety, quality, and/or environmental management.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 accreditation and relevant safety and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
